–When is this Earth Day 2020 Festival?
April 25th, from 12 noon – 7.30pm on the Saturday following National Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22.
–So this is a ticketed event? How much?
Yes, this is a ticketed music festival. However, it is a benefit. We’re donating 100% of proceeds to three local environmental organizations: James River Basin Partnership, Ozark Greenways, and the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks.
Ticket prices vary. Advance ticket sales begin January, 2020 and tickets are $20. If you pay cash on the day of April 25, a ticket will be $25. VIP tickets are $40.
–Who’s all playing?
The Ozark Mountain Daredevils from Springfield are headlining this festival! Other bands are TBA over the next couple of months for a total of 5-6 musical acts from around the state of Missouri. For more info, visit the artist lineup
–What do you mean, plastic-free? Does that mean there won’t be any beer cups or water bottles?
Our goal is to have this as a “leave no trace” event; in other words, no garbage to be left onsite. We are also eliminating single-use plastics. In lieu, we are providing everyone with the opportunity to make a one-time purchase of a commemorative, refillable, stainless-steel cup that you can use throughout the day to purchase beer (and take home, they last forever!). Cups will be $3. No, we’re not going to have plastic water bottles for sale, but we will have hydration stations for people to refill their water bottles. That means free water! You don’t have to worry about spending $10-20 on water bottles throughout the day. We strongly encourage bringing your own water bottle to the festival, and if you don’t have one, there will be a limited amount of reusable cups by the hydration stations to drink from.
–So, there will be beer for sale?
Mother’s will be providing several options for beer for purchase throughout the duration of the festival in your commemorative cup. Sorry, refills are not free.
–What about food?
We will have 1-2 food vendors on site. (TBA)
–What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event, and tickets are non-refundable. We strongly suggest watching the forecast and bringing rain gear and layers for whatever the weather decides to bring us. There will not be a tent for cover.
–What does the VIP ticket cover?
VIP tickets will feature access to the special VIP area that is nearest the stage. It will only be available to the VIP ticket holders. VIP ticket holders will also get a double-walled commemorative cup for their beverages that will be even more durable than the stainless steel cups. Finally, they will have access to their own beer station—skip the lines!
